Learning is a vital process in the life of human beings, which facilitates their development. To achieve this goal, one has adopted different ways of acquiring knowledge. Therefore Islami Jamiat e Talaba arranged a bookfair that provide unlimited benefits. A bookfair is a gathering with a display of various kinds of books for book lovers to browse and buy. Bookfairs offer numerous benefits to the life of a student.
Held at the campus on 29-30 Nov, this mega event facilitates students in many ways. It not only provides books on both engineering subjects including textbooks and resource books and on general topics but also facilitates students by providing guidance stalls from known career consultants, food courts, games including console gaming, soccer, etc and many other activities in which students are awarded also with prizes for participation. Discount cards were distributed especially to the freshmen students.
There was also the most famous SAP stall which had all the accessories and products that every NEDIAN loves such as university logo keychains, NEDIAN spiral notebooks, car stickers, NEDIAN mugs, NEDIAN T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies, etc. Also, here students can find notes and helping material of different courses compiled by SAP NED.
The main benefit of EFBF is that instead of going to URDU Bazar and searching each shop for the specific author or edition, students can purchase their books easily from the bookfair just outside the campus and at a very reasonable price.
The event is covered by professional photographers and TV channels. Famous educationists are invited to attend the EFBF where they address students and talk to media about the importance of education and the problems students facing today.
The EFBF was arranged for 2 days and thousands of students attended it. On the first day of the event President Islami Jamiat e Talaba Karachi br. Hafiz Hasan Saleem and SHO Mubina Town Police Station (name) came to the mega event while on the final day of the event President Islami Jamiat e Talaba Pakistan br. Hamza Siddiqui and Ameer Jamaat e Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman addressed students and praised efforts of IJT NED.
In short, Islami Jamiat Talba NED continues its legacy to facilitate the students.
