ECAT or Engineering College Admissions Tests are obligatory for getting admissions in Universities of Pakistan for engineering courses. NEDUET also takes entry test for admission in undergraduate programs. Getting admission in NED  is a dream for many. But they face many problems in the process of admission.
Firstly, the problem that most of the students face is which technology should they choose or which best technology they can get. For this Islami Jamiat Talba NED arranges the admission guidance camp at the campus to guide the students about the admission process, the previous year’s trends of closing fields, how many merit-based and sponsored seats each technology has, and solve many other admission related queries.
Secondly, another problem that students face is how to prepare for the entry test, what weightage does it have, what is the marking criteria, etc. Islami Jamiat Talba steps in here too to serve the students and arranges not only crash classes for the preparation of entry test but also conducts the largest moc test (self-assessment test) of NED entry test so that students can judge their progress. This SAT (self-assessment test) is one of its kind in which thousands of students appear and the event is covered by media. Past papers are also provided to students for practice.
