Maulana Sadruddin Islahi(1917-1998) was India’s Islamic scholar and writer, Maulana had deep learning and understanding of the Qur’an and the Hadith of the Prophet (PBUH). He spent all his life in Islamic da’wah and Islamic movement including Jama’at-e-Islami Hind.

One of Maulana’s monumental works is Talkhis Tafhi-mul-Qur’an which contains the original interpretation abridged in such a way that no significant and important aspect is missing. He authored some 25 books and innumerable research articles in Urdu. His books have been translated in English and other Asian languages.

Sadruddin Islahi was born in Sidha Sultanpur in the district of Azamgarh, UP.
