STUDY CIRCLES

Without a doubt given the political turmoil worldwide and the ever-present fears of extremism and terrorism, promoting intelligent debate and understanding of Islam and the role of Muslims in the contemporary world is increasingly vital.

It’s a crucial 21st century issue and there is a growing recognition that Islamic Studies has become a subject of strategic importance in a multicultural society.

The students of today, if properly taught, will become the teachers of the future with a vision for multiculturalism and peaceful co-existence.

That is why Islami Jamiat Talba NED organizes study circles on crucial topics of Islam so that the students can have deeper knowledge and stay safe from the propaganda of Islamophobia created by Western society.

PICNICS

Picnicking is a well-known staple activity of socializing. From casual lunches and barbecues with close friends and colleagues to a long day out for a family reunion, picnics provide an easygoing environment to catch up and entertain all kinds of company. But picnicking offers far more than just an opportunity to dust off that blanket and wicker basket.

First of all, spending time outdoors, basking in nature, breathing fresh air and enjoying a great view; the pure air invigorates  and leaves one feeling rejuvenated. Also spending time with friends is always a great bonding experience. In the fast-paced, urbane lifestyle of today there is often limited time for maintaining relationships with some of the most important people in our life. Staying engaged with friends can help build stronger bonds. Apart from that, a relaxing break in hectic semester studies and unending assignments is most needed for better performance.

For these reasons IJT NED arranges awesome picnics, time to time so that students not only can stay focused and put their best in studies, but also polish their socializing skills that will help them in their careers.
